Installation

The four original gauze filled segments are replaced with one circular filter. The filter is held in place with a laser cut steel ring. Soft nitrile rubber seals either side of the filter give an air tight seal also providing a degree of vibration protection.
The single piece filter although quite large is actually easier and quicker to fit than the original segments.

Note the dirt and oil build-up on this filter in operation. The filter is cleaned monthly.

Air pressure drop is reported to be 10 mm water building up to 50 mm over a month.
