The original filter is a simple cloth wrap held in place with velcro strips. The velocity of the air passing through is great enough to pull all the pollutants straight through.

AFTER

Installation

The single piece filter fits over the outer housing diameter and against the larger inner housing diameter.
A laser cut steel ring is held in place by 8 studs with the holes accurately drilled and tapped in the outer periphery.

Engine air consumption 337 M3/min
Filter air supply 1565 M3/min


Pressure drop across the filters is 25-30mm building up to 50-60 mm water in a 6-8 week period. A manometer is supplied to further monitor dirt build up.
